    The “hand painted” finish appears to actually be a really thin film which peeled off in my hand as I was mounting it to the wall (of course not before I had already put holes in my masonry).

    The mounting system is also poorly thought and I do not expect it would have been very solid even if I had gone through with mounting it.

    The paint peeled off all three of the lights I bought. Otherwise, I liked them.

    I wasn’t sure about buying this as there were only 2 reviews: one good and one bad. I have to say, it’s great. We hung it as our outside light and we used Edison light bulbs. Just beautiful. Worth every penny.
